Apparently Pandora has a non-flash redesign available.

But you can only see it if you subscribe to the paid service Pandora | One. And even if you do that, you may not see it depending where you live. It surprises me that Pandora would hold back this type of update for so long especially in a product segment that is becoming more crowded by the month. Read more

Seattle/ Please sir, may I have some more

I just got back from Seattle and I gotta say its a pretty impressive city. Some things that I learned while I was there. Frasier’s apartment doesn’t exist in real life. And that a ton of really big companies are successful there. Maybe the poor weather and long days are good for business.

My thoughts on Tron Legacy

After hearing the slightly lukewarm reviews of Tron Legacy when it came to theatres last winter, I decided to pass on the film. Now that I’ve finally seen it though, I regret my decision, and I don’t think that its an exaggeration to say its one of the best movies I’ve seen in the past couple of years.

Recently I had the opportunity to evaluate 3rd party commenting systems for use on pages that often attract 100 or more comments. In the end, I settled on Disqus and market share seems to support my decision. Read more

How Microsoft can make Kinect more interesting

As I am writing this, Mircrosoft’s Kinect has sold extremely well and has garnered extremely positive reviews from most outlets. Personally, I think that it is an awesome device that has not even gotten close to living up to it’s potential.
